Apple Cinnamon Cake (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - COOKIE BASE:
02 - 200 g crushed biscuits (digestive or graham type)
03 - ½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
04 - 1.5 teaspoon cinnamon powder
05 - 1.5 tablespoon soft brown sugar
06 - 50 g melted butter
07 - APPLE MIX & TOPPING:
08 - 150 g small-cut apple chunks
09 - 1 tablespoon white sugar
10 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
11 - 100 g plain flour
12 - 80 g soft brown sugar
13 - 70 g softened butter
14 - CHEESE FILLING:
15 - 600 g softened cream cheese
16 - 200 g white sugar
17 - 150 g softened sour cream
18 - 1 tablespoon cornflour
19 - 2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
20 - 3 large softened eggs

# Steps To Make It:

01 - Crush cookies with sugar and spices, then stir in melted butter. Push mixture firmly into your pan and bake for 10 minutes.
02 - Toss apple pieces with sugar and cinnamon. Create crumble by combining butter with flour and sugar.
03 - Mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth, fold in sour cream mixture, then add eggs. Don't overmix.
04 - Add filling over base, scatter apples on top, then sprinkle with crumble mixture.
05 - Set in water bath and bake at 160°C for about 80-90 minutes until center jiggles slightly.
06 - Leave in turned-off oven for an hour, cool on counter another hour, then chill in fridge at least 6 hours.

01 - All dairy items must be at room temp before starting
02 - Using a water bath keeps the top from splitting
03 - You'll need to chill this overnight for best results
