Garlic Parmesan Pasta (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - Fresh basil, chopped, for topping.
02 - A handful of grated Parmesan cheese, about 1 cup.
03 - 8 ounces of short pasta, like rotini or penne.
04 - Salt and pepper, as much as you like.
05 - A cup of heavy cream.
06 - 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
07 - 4 heaping tablespoons of butter.
08 - About a pound of chicken breast, cut into cubes.

# Steps To Make It:

01 - Top things off with that fresh basil you set aside.
02 - Give everything in the pan a good toss so the noodles get coated.
03 - Now dump in your cooked pasta and swipe through the sauce.
04 - Try the sauce, then adjust pepper and salt ’til it’s just right for you.
05 - Stir everything up until the sauce is nice and silky.
06 - Pour in the cream and sprinkle in the cheese.
07 - Turn down the heat so things don’t bubble over.
08 - Let the chicken go in the pan for about 5-7 minutes, until it’s got a nice color.
09 - Toss in the chicken cubes and minced garlic.
10 - Drop the butter in a big skillet and let it melt on medium.
11 - Pour the pasta into a strainer and leave it to chill out for a minute.
12 - Cook the pasta in salty water until you bite it and it’s just about done.

# Extra Notes:

01 - Want a little spice? Throw in a pinch of red pepper flakes, or splash of white wine for an extra punch.
02 - Freshly grated Parmesan amps up the flavor for sure.
