01 - 2¼ teaspoons dry active yeast.

# Steps To Make It:

01 - Combine yeast with lukewarm water and sugar until bubbly. Add buttermilk, egg, butter and gradually mix in flour. Let sit for an hour to puff up.
02 - Flatten dough to ½-inch thickness and slice into square pieces.
03 - Deep fry at 350°F until they turn golden brown, about 1-2 minutes on each side.
