Warm your oven to 350°F. Put butter in 9x9 baking pan and let it melt in the oven for about 3-4 minutes.

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Then stir in your sugar.

Mix in buttermilk, vanilla, and lemon extract until your batter looks smooth.

Dump the batter on top of the melted butter but don't mix them together.

Drop spoonfuls of lemon pie filling over the top of your batter.

Cook for 45-55 minutes until you see golden brown edges forming.
