Velvet Butter Cookies (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - A box of Red Velvet cake mix.
02 - One egg, large.
03 - Half a cup of white chocolate chips.
04 - Half a cup of butter, take it out early so it's soft.
05 - Powdered sugar, half a cup plus some extra if you wanna sprinkle on top.
06 - Eight ounces softened cream cheese.
07 - A teaspoon of vanilla flavor.

# Steps To Make It:

01 - At the end, hit the cookies with more powdered sugar if you want.
02 - Carefully move them over to a wire rack so they finish cooling off.
03 - Give 'em about five minutes to chill out on the baking tray before moving them.
04 - Let them bake ten to twelve minutes. You want the middles to look just set, not dry.
05 - Pop the dough balls spread out on parchment-lined baking sheets. Leave a good gap 'cause they spread.
06 - Get some dough, roll it into balls, then cover them in powdered sugar.
07 - Now toss in those white chocolate chips and mix them in gently.
08 - Dump in the cake mix and stir everything together till you've got a thick dough.
09 - Crack in the egg with the vanilla next. Give it a good mix until it's smooth.
10 - Start by blending your butter and cream cheese. Whip them till they're nice and creamy.
11 - Kick things off by setting your oven to 350 degrees F.

# Extra Notes:

01 - Whip up soft cookies with just a cake mix and a few extras.
02 - If you like them extra gooey inside, cut the oven time a bit.
03 - A scoop makes it way easier to get same-size cookies.
04 - Switch up the cake mix for other flavors whenever you feel like it.
