Cheesy Shrimp Pasta (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 16 ounces of twisted cavatappi noodles.
02 - 6 tablespoons of butter, split in portions.
03 - 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic.
04 - 1 teaspoon of dried onion powder.
05 - 1 teaspoon of spicy cayenne.
06 - 1 teaspoon of chunky kosher salt.
07 - ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper.
08 - ¼ cup of all-purpose flour.
09 - 4 cups of creamy half and half.
10 - 12 ounces of nutty gruyere cheese.
11 - 12 ounces of sharp white cheddar.
12 - 2 pounds of peeled raw shrimp.
13 - ¾ cup of crunchy panko crumbs.
14 - 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan.

# Steps To Make It:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F. Boil pasta until just firm. Shred all the cheeses.
02 - Melt butter and cook spices until fragrant, then blend in flour for a roux. Slowly pour in half and half, stirring until it gets thick.
03 - Mix in half your shredded cheese, fold in the cooked pasta and raw shrimp. Dump everything into your baking dish.
04 - Stir melted butter with breadcrumbs and parmesan. Sprinkle the rest of your cheese on top, then add your breadcrumb mix.
05 - Pop in the oven for 20-25 minutes until it's bubbling and the top turns golden. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

# Extra Notes:

01 - You can easily cut this recipe in half.
02 - Add more or less cayenne depending on how spicy you want it.
03 - You can make two smaller batches - one with shrimp and one without.
