# What You’ll Need:

01 - 2¼ cups all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 tablespoon baking powder.
03 - ½ teaspoon table salt.
04 - 1 tablespoon veggie shortening.
05 - 1 cup milk.
06 - Cooking oil for deep frying.
07 - 1 pound ground beef.
08 - 1 ounce taco spice mix.
09 - 1 Roma tomato, chopped.
10 - ½ cup torn lettuce.
11 - ½ cup grated cheese.
12 - 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro.
13 - ¼ cup chunky salsa.

# Steps To Make It:

01 - Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Work in shortening. Pour in milk to create a soft dough.
02 - Split into 8 equal balls, flatten each into thin 5-6 inch circles.
03 - Heat oil to 350°F, dip half the disc in and hold with tongs. Once golden, bend to make taco shape.
04 - Cook beef until no pink remains, stir in taco spice mix.
05 - Stack each shell with cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese, fresh cilantro and salsa.

# Extra Notes:

01 - Add milk bit by bit until dough feels just right.
02 - Best eaten right away for maximum crunchiness.
