Toffee Pretzels (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - Sea salt flakes for topping (if you want).
02 - 1/4 tsp baking soda.
03 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
04 - 1 cup brown sugar, packed in tight.
05 - 1 cup unsalted butter.
06 - 4 cups mini pretzel twists.

# Steps To Make It:

01 - Let cool down, then break the clusters into smaller pieces.
02 - Add a pinch of sea salt flakes while it’s warm, if you like.
03 - Pop the baking sheet in for 8-10 minutes. Give it all a little stir when you’re halfway.
04 - Spread those sticky pretzels flat on your lined sheet.
05 - Dump all the pretzels into a big bowl. Drizzle the hot toffee over and mix till everything’s coated.
06 - Turn the heat off. Throw in your baking soda and vanilla and give it a quick mix.
07 - Toss in the brown sugar, keep stirring till you see bubbles. Don’t stir after that and let it do its thing about 3-4 minutes.
08 - Put your butter in a pan. Melt it on medium power.
09 - Turn your oven to 350°F and set up a baking sheet with some parchment paper.

# Extra Notes:

01 - Pack it in a container that air can’t get into and it’ll keep a week.
02 - Totally fine to add a chocolate drizzle after it’s cooled down.
03 - A bit of baking soda makes your toffee fluffy instead of dense.
04 - Only stir the toffee mix until it gets bubbly and then hands off.
