Simple Brisket (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 4.5 lb chunk of beef brisket.
02 - 1/2 cup seasoning mix.
03 - Stuff you'll need:.
04 - Tin foil.
05 - Deep baking dish.

# Steps To Make It:

01 - Blot brisket till it's dry then rub seasoning mix all over every side. Cover with foil and stick in the fridge overnight.
02 - Take meat out 60 minutes before cooking time. Get your oven hot at 300°F.
03 - Set up foil in an X shape on the rack in your baking dish. Put brisket with fat facing up and wrap it loosely.
04 - Cook for roughly 1 hour 15 minutes for each pound until the middle hits 180°F.
05 - Unwrap the top of the foil and let it cook another 45-60 minutes.
06 - Let it sit wrapped up for half an hour before cutting across the grain.

01 - Plan to begin this dish the day before serving.
02 - Bigger cuts will need more time in the oven.
03 - Always check the temp with a good thermometer.
