These Cheese Pepperoni Crunchers are what I grab when I need something tasty and fast. I came up with them while trying out keto snacks and they've become my regular treat. With just three ingredients and 15 minutes, you'll get these addictively crunchy cheese treats.

The Munchable Treat You'll Crave

You'll get hooked after one bite. They've got that perfect crunch with mouthwatering flavor that works for so many occasions. Great on their own, but they're also awesome as party starters or tossed on top of your soup or salad. And guess what? They don't have carbs or gluten, so they work for pretty much everyone.

Only Three Things Needed

  • Pepperoni: 12 slices form the perfect foundation for our snacks.
  • Mozzarella cheese: 1/3 cup shredded gives us those crispy, stretchy bits we want.
  • Cheddar cheese: 1/3 cup shredded adds that rich, bold taste we crave.

Whipping Them Up

Warm Up Your Oven:
Set it to 375°F so we get that nice snap when they're done.
Arrange Your Tray:
Put one pepperoni slice in each cup of your muffin tin as the base.
Add Your Cheese:
Drop both cheeses on each pepperoni and push down lightly but don't let it reach the sides.
Pop Them In:
Cook for about 8 minutes until you see those edges turn golden.
Cool Them Down:
Let them sit in the pan for 5 minutes to harden before you dig in.

Tweak To Your Taste

  • Swap Your Cheese: Grab some Monterey Jack, Gouda or Parmesan for a different flavor kick.
  • Change Your Pepperoni: Standard pizza pepperoni works great, but tiny ones make cute little snack bites.
  • For Extra Snap: Leave them in a minute or two longer if you want them super crunchy, just watch them closely.

Storing Your Crunchy Bites

Try dipping them in marinara, ranch or spicy mustard for extra flavor. They're also fantastic broken up over your greens. Got some left? Keep them in your fridge up to 3 days. When you want more, heat them in the oven about 5 minutes to get that crunch back. Don't use the microwave or they'll turn soft.

Common Questions

→ How long do these crisps stay fresh?

They'll last up to 3 days when stored in your fridge. Just pop them in the oven for a minute to make them crunchy again.

→ Can I use different types of cheese?

Definitely try Monterey Jack or Parmesan for new taste options. Just stick with harder cheeses that'll get nice and crispy.

→ Why are my crisps not getting crispy?

Check that your oven is hot enough before you start. You might need to cook them a bit longer. Don't rush the cooling part, that's when they really firm up.

→ Can I make these without the pepperoni?

For sure, plain cheese crisps taste awesome too and still work great for keto diets.

→ How do I prevent them from sticking to the pan?

Go with a non-stick muffin pan and wait about 5 minutes before you try to take them out. The pepperoni fat actually helps them slide out easier too.
